Hormone Hero: Somer Schreiber-Small, FNP-C, APRN

Each month, we celebrate a provider who is changing what care looks like for the people they serve. This month, that provider is Somer Schreiber-Small.

Two Decades of Experience

Somer has spent more than 20 years in healthcare, and her experience covers a remarkable range: acute care, cardiac telemetry, dialysis and post-acute care. That kind of breadth shapes a provider who sees the whole person, not just the diagnosis in front of her.

She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and holds a master’s degree from Samuel Merritt University.

Care That Meets Patients Where They Are

Today, Somer sees patients at several post-acute care facilities. There, she draws on her years of experience to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle and lessen the effects of disease. She also runs a part time weight loss practice, supporting people who are ready to take charge of their goals.

Those who work with her describe the same thing: a compassionate, caring provider with a real passion for helping people get where they want to go.

Bringing Hormone Therapy to Her Community

Somer is now a Certified Pellet Provider, and she is excited to expand the care she offers and promote wellness throughout her community. For anyone who has been told their symptoms are “just part of getting older,” that matters. Hormones are foundational to health. Providers like Somer make sure patients hear about options beyond “that’s normal.”

Beyond the Clinic

When she isn’t working, Somer spends time with her family and loves traveling to new places.

Thank You, Somer

Thank you for your compassion, your dedication and your commitment to helping patients feel their best. You are exactly the kind of provider the Bioidentical Hormone Revolution needs.
