Hormone Hero Stasha- Gae

Meet this month’s Hormone Hero: Stasha-Gae Roberts, DNP, MPH, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC

Stasha-Gae’s path to hormone medicine started in uniform. She’s a U.S. Army Veteran who served four years as an Army nurse officer at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Since then she has built a 26-year nursing career, with more than 12 of those years in advanced practice.

In 2021 she founded Compassion Primary Care, a Direct Primary Care clinic serving Florida’s Tampa Bay and Suncoast region. Her model is virtual first, with in-home visits and monthly in-person appointments in Ellenton, and she has a special focus on women in midlife. She combines conventional medicine with integrative therapies and advanced BHRT certification. That lets her support patients through perimenopause, menopause, thyroid conditions including Hashimoto’s, metabolic and gut health, sleep, and stress.

Her philosophy says it all: “Symptoms deserve to be understood in context, not dismissed in isolation.”

This is what treating the person, not the protocol, looks like. Thank you, Stasha-Gae, for standing up for your patients’ right to feel their best.
