Still Symptomatic on HRT: A Training Gap, Not a Treatment Failure

Researchers reviewed 279 women on transdermal estrogen whose hot flashes were largely controlled. Nearly nine in ten still reported fatigue, low libido and memory problems. When clinicians added testosterone, patients improved across multiple organ systems. The lesson reaches beyond one hormone. Controlling hot flashes does not resolve every symptom, and most providers receive limited hormone education that stops at vasomotor symptoms. Comprehensive care closes that gap. That means a full hormone assessment, testosterone included, with individualized dosing. Develop the clinical mastery that turns symptom relief into full resolution.
